Pequannock Township located in Morris County with a population of 15,571 and is just 7.1 square miles, giving it that small town feel. It’s the birthplace of former Yankee, Derek Jetter. In 2015 Pequannock ranked 4th overall in NJ. Pequannock is located in eastern Morris County along Route 23, with easy access to Interstate 80 and U.S. Route 46. The Pequannock Township School District serves public school students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Let’s go Panthers! The Mountain View and Lincoln Park NJ Transit stations are both near Pequannock, offering service on the Montclair-Boonton Line to Hoboken Terminal. Bus service is provided by NJ Transit on the 194 line to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan.
